It is shown that insignificant trifles do not give rise to a warranty obligation in the absence of a deviation relevant to the material defect. Furthermore, the effects of minor material defects on the buyer's legal options are analysed, from the initial performance process to the claim for subsequent performance and the subordinate warranty rights.
