In der nun 9. Auflage liegt der praxisnahe Kodierleitfaden für die Viszeralchirurgie für das Jahr 2026 vor. Die Abbildung chirurgischer Fälle im DRG-System wird anhand von Definitionen, Hitlisten und Beispielen anschaulich erklärt. Dabei werden die Themen Viszeralchirurgie und Transplantationschirurgie dargestellt. Ein eigenes Kapitel widmet sich den 2024 eingeführten und 2025 und 2026 deutlich erweiterten Hybrid-DRGs, die in der Chirurgie 2026 mit der Aufnahme von Cholezystektomien und Appendektomien massiv an Bedeutung gewinnen.Die Viszeralchirurgie ist in der DRG-Vergütung inzwischen komplex abgebildet und wurde in den letzten Jahren vom InEK wiederholt gründlich überarbeitet. Auch für 2026 wurde die Abbildung operativer Fälle im System aktualisiert. Dabei standen routinemäßige klassifikatorische Anpassungen im Mittelpunkt der Aktivitäten des InEK. Auch wurden wieder Kodes für neue Operationsverfahren und Zusatzkodes für die Verwendung spezieller Materialien oder Apparate eingeführt.Daneben gibt es eine Vielzahl an Detailänderungen bei den Prozeduren, die der Leitfaden umfassend darstellt. Die Bedeutung und der Umgang mit splitrelevanten Prozeduren werden im Leitfaden ausführlich erläutert, ebenso die weitere Differenzierung der Beatmungs-DRGs oder die neue Kodierregel zur Sepsis.Die zunehmend kritisch vom MD geprüften Konstellationen im Fachgebiet werden mit den aktuellen Fakten präsentiert. Daneben werden wiederkehrende klinische Situationen, wie beispielsweise die Kodierung der Segmentresektionen bei Stomarückverlagerung, umfassend besprochen. Sämtliche Diagnosen, Prozeduren, Fallpauschalen und Kodierrichtlinien, die die Viszeralchirurgie betreffen, werden für das DRG-System 2026 aktuell dargestellt. Ebenso dargestellt werden die Entscheidungen des Bundesschlichtungsausschusses, die für die viszeralchirurgischen Themen an den entsprechenden Stellen erläutert und kommentiert werden. Dies betraf seit 2023 u. a. die Cholezystetomie.

This book seeks to identify the manifold ways in which the multiple European crises, debt, financial, sociopolitical, refugee (re)construct political polarizations in Greece on the basis of the country’s divided past. This is the first book in the context of Discourse Studies and Political Communication which addresses specifically the Greek political particularities and their importance in both the construction and the expression of different notions of political identity in discourse.&nbsp;The book, written by two linguists, provides a critical interactional approach that combines critical discourse analysis, sociolinguistics, argumentation, political sociology, and social theory. Its interdisciplinary character enriches its theoretical platform and makes it distinctive.&nbsp;While the book centers on the Greek political landscape, it offers valuable insights for the broader study of Western politics and societies, which, like Greece, have in recent years been marked by overlapping crises, polarization, and political instability. We anticipate that readers will identify parallels between the Greek case and their own political realities. Coupled with an innovative methodological approach, this study aims to open new pathways in the analysis of political discourses.

Er war Mitarbeiter am Sudhoff-Institut für Geschichte der Medizin und Naturwissenschaften der Universität Leipzig, habilitierte sich am Institut für Geschichte der Naturwissenschaften der Universität Hamburg und wurde anschließend Privatdozent an der Fakultät für Mathematik der Universität Leipzig. Er erhielt den Förderpreis der Deutschen Akademie der Naturforscher Leopoldina imJahr 1996 sowie den Lester-Ford-Award der MAA im Jahr 2004. Political Epistemology

This book is the first English translation of a German classic in the social-historical historiography of science in the early modern period. It presents a reconstruction of the ‘Scientific Revolution’ based on a critical historical materialism. It argues that the dominant ideas, images, and philosophies of nature of that time were conditioned by humans’ practical and technological relationship with nature, and that they changed in accordance with the historical development of early capitalist society. Against economic reductionism, Lefèvre stresses the interdependence of material conditions of life and theories of nature on the basis of a critical study of sources and historical contexts. The book makes available an important study with related texts and contributes to the current debates on the intersection of historical and political epistemology.The series editors provide a conceptual and contextual introduction, including information on the political-epistemological background of the book first published in 1978.
