Early Modern Women's Writing and the Future of Literary History

Previous studies of English literary history often excluded women's writing or relegated it to a secondary, isolated tradition. This book argues that a full accounting of early modern women's literary activities is necessary to the future of literary studies, requiring a repositioning of women's writing at the center of literary tradition.
