Carbon Capture and Storage in the Oil and Gas Industry

Carbon Capture and Storage in the Oil and Gas Industry

Solutions for the Energy Transition

Contenu

Carbon Capture, Utilization and Storage (CCUS) is a climate mitigation action which caters to the assets (in terms of geological storage capacities and existing infrastructure) and the technical skills (i.e., expertise in subsurface technology) of oil and gas producers. The literature through journal outlets is climbing rapidly, but there is still no CCUS go-to reference that trains the oil and gas engineer.

Carbon Capture and Storage in the Oil and Gas Industry will introduce engineers to the basics on CCUS and how oil and gas can support activity. Containing both academic and corporate contributors, topics include screening selection, best practices, and latest advances. Field applications and available case studies will be included to learn and apply for real-world application.

Lead by three experienced oil and gas experts, Carbon Capture and Storage in the Oil and Gas Industry will define and guide the oil and gas engineer into a must-have skill to learn in the energy transition and contribute to net zero goals.
