Artificial Intelligence Applications for Brain–Computer Interfaces

Contenu

Artificial Intelligence Applications for Brain-Computer Interfaces focuses on the advancements, challenges, and prospects for future technologies over non-invasive BCIs, including the processing and analysis of multi-bio-signals, integrated stimulation-acquisition devices, and implantable neuro-technologies. The book not only provides cross-disciplinary research in the fields of Brain-Computer interfaces, it also presents divergent applications on telerehabilitation, emotion recognition, neuro-rehabilitation, and ambient assisted living environments through cognitive workload assessments. In 16 peer reviewed chapters, the book describes how Brain-computer interfaces (BCIs) enable a connection between the brain and external devices like computers and electronic gadgets. Sections analyzes the neural signals from the brain to obtain insights from brain patterns using multiple non-invasive wearable sensors and gives insight in how sensors outcome are processed through machine-intelligent models to draw inferences. Each chapter starts with the importance, problem statement and motivation. The description of proposed methodology is provided, and related works are also presented.
