Celeste is hundreds of miles from home following an unexpected journey aboard a Mississippi steamboat.

It will be difficult—most likely impossible—to return before the snow comes.

Celeste tries to settle in a few different nooks where she can stay warm and safe.

But it’s inside the pocket of a boy named Abe Lincoln where she feels coziest and most right.

In losing her way, Celeste finds herself in a place she never expected—home, finally.
